Step 1: File nail edges. Blue Side
Step 2: Remove ridges. Pink Side
Step 3: Smooth nail surface.  Grey Side

This buffer provides great grip. It has the advantage of a 3-Way buffer, plus, a file. Each surface is numbered 1–4 and includes directions for usage printed on the section. Follow the steps to buff the nail to a high gloss shine.
